Today we toured Northern Ireland. A few of our pit stops included, Dunluce Castle, Giants Causeway, The Dark Hedges, and finally The Belfast City Hall. Needless to say we had worked up an appetite by the time we arrived at Belfast. Once in Belfast Michele pulled up Google Maps in search of some grub. We checked several restaurants and ultimately picked Bank Square Brasserie. I usually say we got lucky on our pick, but we have yet to “pick” even an average restaurant. Between Google reviews, location and wine cards (yea!), we have experienced excellent restaurants. Okay, so Bank Square Brasserie. We were met at the door by Kaila. She escorted us to our table. At first glance, yeap French decor all around (hence Brasserie). Bank Square is a very elegant restaurant. I would definitely recommend it for special occasions. While brasserie restaurants are known for beer, this one had a good selection of wines. We settled on a delicious Montepulchiano. Because we were in lunch mode we went with the Classic Smash Burger and Fries. Very tasty. I’m not ashamed to say we both devoured our burgers. Yum Should you ever find yourself in Belfast consider Bank Square for lunch or dinner. It’s an excellent choice!

We decided to spontaneously try this restaurant and the food was amazing! A very good start to our holiday. The bone marrow burger was delicious, but the cauliflower with manchego soup is definitely a must, we super recomend it! So good. Very friendly service, we hope to come back.

Excellent meal - only regret is I never visited sooner. Beautiful restaurant with a chill vibe and cozy, fun atmosphere. The goats cheese starter was nice, and the bone marrow burger was dressed delicious, and tasted excellent. The side salad wasn't an afterthought wither, and was put together to compliment the burger nicely. The Gin bramble was great as well, prepared very nice. Service was friendly and top notch. Pay this place a visit !

Bone marrow appetizer is a must! For the main course, recommend the pork chop, I think it was the best I’ve ever eaten- ridiculously tender and beautifully seasoned. Sea trout exceptional. Duck breast pink was beautiful, but the leg was a little overcooked. Leah, our waitress was phenomenal.

Amazing place , Staff , food , ambience. Made very welcome from Lea , Conor and all the team . First class venue , We were a large group of 36 and they catered for all our needs very well. Even had a wee sing song at the end of the night . Superb .

Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, with a separate menu. The chicken satay in peanut sauce with spicy mayo and cabbage slaw was rich and juicy. The tomato soup with basil oil was thick and the included sourdough was nice and chewy. Their version of an old fashioned – "BelFashioned" was well balanced.

We hadn't dined here since it was revamped from Havana Bank Square so were keen to see if it was still good. I'd heard something about the chef taking it over so seemed likely. We were impressed. We both had starters and mains. I had the duck terrine and Christmas dinner. Both were excellent. I could have eaten more though. Atmosphere was good, a little chilly but it was stormy outside and maybe some low volume background music would add to the atmosphere. Our servers were lovely, don't know names but both men. We'll be back.
